The Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition has a wonderful page of family resources. This research focused organization provides relevant research as well.

Calico Spanish

Calico Spanish is an accessible and useful site with resources to help parents and students learn Spanish at home. This site can be useful for Spanish Immersion students to supplement their target language learning.

 

Get Ready to Read

Get Ready to Read focuses on supporting parents in teaching their child to read. The site also provides an assessment for parents to use to track their child’s reading progress.

Multilingual Children Association

A website in Spanish and English with information for parents on raising multilingual children. There are lists of books, websites, projects, and more for parents focusing on raising their children multilingually.

Multilingual Monkeys

Multilingual Monkeys promises to help parents raise their children multilingually without “going bananas”. Activities, research, forums, blog posts, and more are available for parents. Not only this, but the website’s author also offers consultations.

 

Multilingual Parenting

Similar to the previous two resources, Multilingual Parenting offers articles on common topics, forums, as well as a list of podcasts and videos of interest.

Participate offers a variety of articles and resources geared towards immersion parents. Easily navigated, the topics are relevant to first time immersion parents as well as parents who have not yet enrolled their child in an immersion program.
